Metro de Madrid Line 8 (Nuevos Ministerios – Aeropuerto T1-T2-T3/T4)

Line 8 runs from all airport metro stations to Nuevos Ministerios (a main interchange for central Madrid) from about 06:05 to 02:00 daily; from Nuevos Ministerios you can easily transfer to other metro lines toward Gran Vía, Sol and Atocha for the historic center. An airport supplement applies in addition to the standard Metro Zone A fare.

Cercanías Renfe Line C1 (Príncipe Pío – Atocha – Chamartín – Aeropuerto T4)

Suburban rail line C1 links Airport T4 with major central stations including Chamartín and Atocha, where you can transfer to Cercanías, long‑distance trains and metro lines toward Sol/Gran Vía. Trains typically run every 15–30 minutes during the day; the service is free when connecting with some AVE tickets.

EMT Line 203 Exprés Aeropuerto (Atocha – Cibeles – O’Donnell – Airport)

This 24‑hour express bus connects all terminals with O’Donnell, Plaza de Cibeles and Atocha, giving direct access or easy onward connections to Sol and Gran Vía. Daytime frequency is roughly every 15–20 minutes (reduced to about every 35 minutes at night) with a flat fare of €5.

EMT Line 200 (Avenida de América – Airport)

City bus 200 links all terminals with Avenida de América transport hub, where you can change to several metro lines toward the city centre (e.g. Line 4 to Goya and then Line 2 to Sol). It runs roughly every 10–20 minutes between early morning and late evening at standard EMT bus fares.

Madrid official taxi (flat fare to central area within M‑30)

White Madrid city taxis with a red stripe are available outside each terminal and operate 24/7, offering a fixed €33 fare between the airport and any destination inside the M‑30 ring road, which covers central areas including Sol and Gran Vía. This flat rate includes luggage and applies in both directions without surcharges.
