Chengdu Metro Line 18 + Line 1

From Tianfu International Airport T1/T2 Station on B1, take Metro Line 18 to Chengdu South Railway Station, then transfer to Line 1 to Tianfu Square in the city centre; total journey is about 60 minutes with trains on Line 18 every ~9 minutes and Line 1 about every 6 minutes during the day (roughly 06:00–23:00).

Chengdu Metro Line 18 (express/local) to South Railway Station

Line 18 runs between Tianfu Airport and Chengdu South Railway Station with both express (about once per hour) and local services (around every 10 minutes); at South Railway Station you can transfer easily to Metro Line 1 or other lines towards Tianfu Square and central Chengdu.

Chengdu Metro Line 19 + Line 1

Metro Line 19 links Tianfu Airport with Chengdu Shuangliu Airport only a few times per day and can be combined with the Chengdu Metro network (Line 10/Line 3/Line 1) towards Tianfu Square, but low frequency makes it a backup rather than primary option for reaching the city centre.

Airport Bus No. 1 (Tianfu Airport – Chunxi Road/Tianfu Square area)

Express airport shuttle buses from Tianfu Airport Terminals run roughly every 20–30 minutes to downtown stops near Chunxi Road and Tianfu Square; travel time is around 60–80 minutes depending on traffic and services are generally scheduled from early morning to late evening.

Metered taxis queue on the first floor outside Terminals 1 and 2 and offer direct rides to Tianfu Square and other central districts; the 63–67 km trip typically takes about 60–75 minutes in normal traffic and costs around RMB 190–200 to Tianfu Square, operating 24 hours a day.
